Making olive pastries

Students of 6th class have been working on a project on olives and olive oil of course which is so important in the Mediterranean diet. We use it in cooking a lot, in salads, sweets, and as part of the project we made the olive pastries at school.

Ingredients

Olives without the kernel
One glass of seed oil or olive oil
2 blended oranges (without the peel)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Sesame seeds
Flour

Instructions
Mix all the ingredients. Add as much flour as to make a soft dough. Take a little dough in your hand, put an olive and close so as to make a small- sized ball (it is going to expand during baking). Roll the ball on the sesame seeds so that it is covered with sesame. Bake in medium heat oven for 15-20 minutes.
